Using the Caledonia Archives is easy and FREE!

The Caledonia Archives are divided into several sections:

Within the General Archives

Out of print and important books, histories of local Churches and ministers, newspaper articles on local topics, poems about Caledonia and district, and other materials like legal documents.

Within the Cemetery Archives:

Complete transcriptions of local cemeteries in searchable databases, a list of all of the burials documented in the Archive, and a list of all burials in Haldimand County, the last being courtesy of the Ontario Genealogical Society. Plus various histories, maps and cemetery finding aids.

Within the Creepy Caledonia section:

Local stories, legends, and folklore as made popular by Creepy Caledonia and submitted by local residents and visitors.

Within the Photo Archives:

Thousands of historic and recent photographs and postcards viewable full-resolution with titles and descriptions.

Within the Video Archives:

Dozens of historical and documentary videos showing events from Caledonia's past, and recent history.

It's easy to find what you're looking for in the Archives. Use the Access Resources menu to navigate your way around. Once you start researching you'll find that similar topics are cross-linked throughout all four sections of the Caledonia Archives.
